Transgender Woman Gets Angry With ATM Queue, Takes Her Shirt Off To Protest.
When an ATM kiosk in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar ran out of cash, people were understandably furious. a transgender literally lost it- and also choose to lose her shirt in the process.
The ATM security guard and police informed the police. Women personnel forced her to cover up, and took her to the Ghazipur Police Station. She told a female police inspector that men and women hadn’t allowed her to stand in queue.
However, it ended well for the lady, who was personally escorted to the nearest Axis Bank ATM to withdraw cash. India’s withdrawal of 500 and 1,000 rupee bills, aimed at curbing corruption and counterfeit currency, has sparked long lines of people looking to exchange their worthless bills.
State Bank of India , India’s largest lender by assets, said on Friday it had already received 180 billion rupees in savings and current account deposits since Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the measure.
