Honeypreet spotted in Nepal’s Mahendranagar
Honeypreet was spotted in Nepal’s Mahendranagar. Has she fled again?
The absconding ‘angel’ of rape convict Dera chief Ram Rahim was seen roaming in a vehicle bearing Nepal registration with three others on Sunday.
Dera Sacha Sauda’s jailed head Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s ‘adopted daughter’ Honeypreet was spotted in Nepal Mahendranagar last week. Mahendranagar is located just 5 km from India border.
According to sources within Haryana Police, the absconding ‘angel’ of rape convict Ram Rahim was seen roaming in a vehicle bearing Nepal registration with three others on Sunday.
Reports say she stayed in Mahendranagar for at least a week. Sources said Honeypreet may have changed her look to deceive the police and other agencies.
Meanwhile, the Panchkula Police has booked Honneypreet for instigating the August 25 violence.
Violence erupted in Panchkula and Sirsa in Haryana and parts of Punjab and Delhi on August 25 following Ram Rahim Singh’s conviction in a rape case. The mayhem left 35 dead in Panchkula and six in Sirsa.
Dera Sacha Sauda boasts of a big follower base in Nepal. Ram Rahim had visited Nepal in May 2015 after earthquake hit the country and had distributed relief material to the victims.
Top Dera aide Pradeep Goyal alias Vicky, who was arrested from Udaipur on Saturday, had told the police that Honeypreet had fled to Nepal.
The police had earlier traced a mobile phone location of Honeypreet Insan in Barmer, Rajasthan. Another location was Udaipur which means she was roaming free in Rajasthan after August 25.
